Wellington Tree Program – Sign Up Form: Tree Program Update:   While we don't yet have an official ordinance change completed (the process involves a lot of discussion, approval from the legal team, and two public readings) it's in progress and should be ready to go before planting begins.   That said: It is time to request your trees! If you are interested in having a tree planted in your yard or right-of-way/easement this fall/winter, please fill out this form. Please complete your form as soon as possible; trees and tree varieties are first come, first served. The deadline to request a tree with this form is Oct 24, 2025. If you have questions or encounter any issues, please email me at [email protected]. Thank you to everyone who helped make this expansion of the tree program a reality. https://forms.gle/V8xraqseyYPsqynH8

Important reminder

Important reminder! June 4th is the last day to submit your name to appear on the ballot for a City of Wellington commissioner position. As a reminder, Wellington is a home-ruled city which affords us many benefits including lower taxes, more services, and less bureaucracy to mitigate problems. Unfortunately we have not had much interest in these positions to date, which leaves us vulnerable to being absorbed into Louisville Metro. While I have served on the Board since 2010 and as Mayor for the last several years, I will not be running again when my term comes up in 2026 and would like to have a strong Board to learn the ropes and lead our city in the future. Commissioners perform a range of duties for the city with a very manageable workload – most commissioners have other full time employment. I’d be happy to share more about the responsibilities and roles. If you are interested please email me at [email protected] or 502-494-1716. Thank you
