It’s that time again; time to request your tree through the city’s tree program! Please complete your form as soon as possible, for the best chance at your preferred species.

 

The deadline to request a tree with this form and pay for your tree is October 20.

Tree Program Info:

Tree requests are first come, first served, one tree per property per planting through the city's tree program. Trees cost $75, which covers the tree, arborist advice on tree location, planting by Trees Louisville, 811 and Pinpoint utility location services, mulch, stakes, a tree care brochure, and a water well which can be removed after the first year. Homeowners are responsible for watering their own tree.

Trees Louisville will place flags in arborist-suggested tree locations so homeowners can make an informed decision about planting. After flagging, at least one person will come make sure the area is safe for utility lines for our street trees.

Planting will happen during November/December, like last year. 

Your $75 payment must be received by the deadline to get a tree planted this Fall. Please write a check to City of Wellington, and include the property address and "tree program" somewhere on the check. We are happy to come pick up checks in person, just email [email protected]
